Well today's Bestfriend's birthday and I didn't get to spend it with her, because she's such a typical busy person {yes, it IS the holidays already but still} and she's sick. Yes, sick, right on her birthday.
:( I managed to call Bestfriend yesterday, on account that I could stand it no more that she'd been ignoring all my smses and calls. Turns out she'd never received them in the first place. -.- So we had this brilliant idea that it was Dexter {Bestfriend's brother} who was intercepting the calls and stuff. Ha ha. Interesting how chatting with yor Bestfriend seems to brighten up even the loneliest days and make yoo feel so happy huh. ;) We laughed and talked and talked some more, it was almost as though we were still classmates, or at least schoolmates. Remember 601? Aw.
Chatted over an hour- yes, so short- because Bestfriend's Dad was starting to nag. But anyway, we caught up on A LOT of things. Yes, because we haven't been talking lately. Aw I wish there'd be more afternoons like that. And besides, I'll be more than contented to go out with Bestfriend one of these days soon. Just hope her dad allows.
Talking about our new, or maybe not so new, school-lives, it's been a real change. She's off to Raffles, and as eleven months fly by, Bestfriend's possibly even two times smarter. I couldn't help but noticing the differences between us every now and then. It somehow feels so distant, to be in different schools, leading different lives, it's sad how we'll never get to sit beside each other in class anymore, poke fun at Wei Xuan like how we used to, complain to each other about certain things, and even argue over the slightest matters. {!}
Now even the 'language' we speak are different. It reminds me, that when we were in Primary school last time, the only swear words we used were 'oh SHIT' or 'Yoo suck' or something. Use the 'F-word' and yoo find yorself in the principal's office. Yes, that was how Primary school was. Moving on to Secondary school, nobody really does give a damn. 'What the heck' has changed to 'What the F*' now, and look, there's even words like knn and pang-seh. I still remember, Cheryl was the one who taught us the latter. Ha. Funny isn't it, I used the word when chatting with Bestfriend and she was asking what the word meant.
I guess we've really grown up by now, haven't we.
I'm not sure what to say, somehow it's a happy feeling to be able to catch up with yor Bestfriend again, yet it feels so weird, like we're all starting to drift apart. :'(
But we know it'll never happen yeah. :) still remember the days, when I used to call yoo 'Toilet-Bowl' because it sounded like 'Charlotte Loh'? Ha ha. Miss the days.
